Hello! We are a team of third year Dental Hygiene students at Algonquin College. We understand that dental related things can be complicated and confusing, especially with constant changes in technology. So, we thought we’d make a blog help keep everyone stay up to date!
Sarah A.M: I grew up in a family that never went to the hygienist because a Dental Hygienist didn’t even exist where my parents are from. You can imagine how much value they had on oral health and how that affected me growing up. I didn’t get a cleaning until I got into the program! Nevertheless, I feel grateful to have the opportunity to be the one to help educate them as they have always taught me. I’m lucky to have this knowledge and be able to share it with my clients, so they can spread what they learned to their family members too.
